According to Angie Angers (in Foster mom found guilty of burning child), Kelly O'Brein was found guilty of 1) assault and battery and 2) reckless endangerment with regards to a 4-year-old boy who had been her foster child. The alleged incident reported in the story was of Ms O'Brein burning the child's arms with a hair straightening iron. "The boy underwent skin graphing surgery."
