Another Complaint Against Children's Protective Services

This post is an update to my previous posts (March 4, 2013 & May 9, 2013)

& is part of the Lost In the System series.

 

As reported by Gina Silva (Another Complaint Against Children's Protective Services), Ms. Ruby "Dillon's attorney is taking on Child Protective Services. ... Dillon claims that when she reported the suspected sexual abuse, her daughter was taken away from her and given to the alleged molester."

Disturbingly (though not surprisingly), "CPS is still involved because one of their workers allegedly provided false and misleading information to the judge that led to that judge continuing to allow the child to remain with the father."

According to Martin Burns (Investigative Producer) and Gina Silva (Investigative Reporter) in Custody Fight: Allegations of Molestation, "They claim even a parent who reports child abuse by their spouse is often punished. Instead of the alleged abuser losing custody of the child, the reporting parents loses or has their custody rights curtailed."
