Child Starves as Foster Home Banks Cash

In this tragic story, a Michigan mother simply wanted help caring for her wheel-chair bound son. When she asked the state for assistance, their answer was to put him in a foster care facility. This 10-year-old boy would starve to death under the care of this foster care facility, which was making $12,000 per month to care for him.

Foster Parents Speak About Newborn's Death

According to a news article & video by channel 4 WSMV, foster parents in Tennessee were investigated in connection with a child's death. According to the report, when the baby, who had had health problems, died, the foster parents were accused of shaken baby syndrome. Subsequently, their 2-year-old biological daughter was removed from their home. However, the medical examiner said the baby died of natural causes.

Child Protective Services: CPS & Police Abuse Constitution, Invading Homes, Kidnapping Children

This news clip focuses on the Gates family of Texas, whose 13 children were removed via an inappropriate use of CPS's emergency removal abilities. In this case, the judge ordered an immediate return of the children, so long as they receive an independent evaluation (for safety). The evaluator's report was glowing, which CPS found "disappointing". CPS then entered the Gates family into the states central registry of child abusers. Since that time, according to this news clip, the Gates family has spent 8 years & $175,000 trying to have their names removed from the central registry. The family has gone on to form the Texas Center for Family Rights.
